1.Meow Meow Tweet Repair Balm: Hydration for your skin, but in a compostable paper tube! This and the next product are made from 90% recycled paper. I use the balm as my nightly face moisturizer because it’s a little on the heavy side. A little goes a long way with this smooth vegan balm. It’s also multipurpose, so you can use it on any other dry areas, like your hands.
2.Meow Meow Tweet Vegan Lip Balm: This is a jumbo lip balm – trust me when I say it will last you months if not years. The natural oils and butters provide the right about of shine and the hydration is solid through colder months. The sweet orange tangerine scent is subtle and reminiscent of summertime. Once finished, it is biodegradable or can be composted.
3.Native Plastic Free Deodorant: Cruelty free, aluminum free, plastic free. To apply, push up the product from the bottom. Super effective and part of 1% for the planet. Cucumber & Mint is the most refreshing and is my personal favorite. Target is currently running a promotion on these, so it’s the perfect time to stock up.
4.Meow Meow Tweet Pink Rose Clay Facial Soap: Wet your face and hands then lather this bar for a sudsy face wash that tones and gently exfoliates (great for even my sensitive skin). Made of ingredients like crushed rose petals, French clay, and coconut oil. Fair trade and organic!
5. + 6.Unwrapped Life Shampoo & Conditioner Bars: My hair feels as healthy as ever and I’m digging the minimalistic look of bars in the shower. These are free of paraben or phthalates, and are vegan too. To apply, I suds up shampoo my hands and directly apply the conditioner bar to my hair. If you travel often, you can add purchase the option with the cutest gold tins. Available in different options based on your hair’s needs, there’s something for everyone. Since I don’t really have specific hair needs, I use the Balancer (smoothing) and love it! And if bars aren’t your thing, that’s okay. Check out my review of another option that comes in aluminum bottles.
I could go on and on about these plastic free hygiene swaps – they’re THAT gamechanging!
